TEK VE TENHA
Pandemi sürecinde ailece yaşadığımız vefat ve kaygının yansıması olan bu proje, gerçek ve kurgu arasında bir gezinti.
Bu belirsizlik döneminde hayatımız büyük değişikliklere uğrarken her ne kadar beraber olsak da “tek ve tenha” ışığı arayışımızın hikayesi.
İmgelerde tam tamına gerçekliği aktarmak yerine onun yeniden inşa etme çabasına girdim. Sinematografi, resim, edebiyat gibi farklı disiplinlerin referanslarını da anlatım içine almamım yanı sıra pencereden içeri gelen kuvvetli ışıklarla, iç mekandaki ışıkları dengeleyerek atmosferik izole sahneleri yaratmaya çalıştım.
Bu hikaye henüz bitmeyen ve gizem peşinde koşan kişisel bir seri benim için.
LONE AND SECLUDED
This project is a reflection of what me and my family were going through during the pandemic and of the grief caused by losing a family member.
Even we were standing together while our life underwent major changes in this period of uncertainty, we were searching for light “lone and secluded.”
Instead of conveying the exact reality, I wanted to rebuild images by making references to different disciplines such as cinematography, painting and literature. In order to create atmospheric and isolated scenes, I tried to balance the strong lights coming from the windows and gloomy interior lights.
This story is a personal series, which is yet to be complete and chasing after mystery.
